Some people have waited quite impatiently for something to happen here. But well, you know how it goes with those sorts of things..sometimes you think for days and nothing worth mentioning comes up, and other times you accomplish exactly the same in less than a minute. Well, here’s your minute of enjoyment!

Don’t know if you’ve already seen the movie Into the Wild? I have, and it has stuck with me since. It’s a story of life, and what you want to do with it. It’s also a story of modern society, and what you want to do with that. Sometimes it seems as if we are not living in a society, we are being lived by it. Can we escape? Is it still possible to be free?

On a less serious note, I have also been reading a fair bit of the Hitchhiker’s Guide lately. This also is a story of life, and what you want to do with it. And society. Do you just take for granted what comes on your path, or can you simply stop, say no to the whole thing and live another life? We urge for order, for luxury, for money, but at what cost? If our life is just one big experiment set up to study humankind’s skill for survival, I think at the moment the results are still not very convincing. Let’s hope we can improve before the experiment is cancelled and restarted.

On a more positive note, life as it is still has its beauty. Be open for it, and let those small wonders enlighten you.
